Meet Kia, our Personal Injury Legal Admin! Kia supports our attorneys and paralegals by keeping legal matters organized and running smoothly. Her role involves managing client files, preparing essential legal documents, and filing new claims to ensure every case moves forward effectively.
Born and raised in the province of Batangas, Philippines, Kia moved to Manila to pursue her studies and seek better career opportunities. She graduated from Rizal Technological University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Office Management. Her journey to independence and professional growth eventually led her to join the BGL team in July 2024.
Before becoming a Legal Assistant, Kia served as a Medical Records Clerk at BGL. Her promotion is a highlight of her career here, reflecting her dedication and the sense of accomplishment she feels when supporting her team.
Outside of work, Kia enjoys well-deserved rest. While she used to find stress relief in online games, she now prefers catching up on sleep, binge-watching The Office, or relaxing with ASMR videos.

Favorite thing about your role: I love the feeling of knowing that I was able to help the paralegals. Being organized and supporting the team gives me a sense of accomplishment and allows me to contribute to the success of each case.
Favorite thing about working at BGL: One of the things that I love here is that the people I work with are genuinely kind.
A highlight of your career at BGL: I was promoted from being a Medical Records Clerk to becoming a Legal Assistant.
Interesting fact about yourself: I moved from my home province to the city to build my independence and have since successfully pivoted from medical records to a legal assistant role!
