Inside the mind of Bahara:
Favorite thing about your role: My favorite thing about my role is that I get to do a little bit of everything, which in turn helps me learn more about the different processes and tasks, as well as how each case begins. I also enjoy interacting with clients over the phone, whether they are returning or new clients.
Favorite thing about working at BGL: My favorite thing about working at BGL is being part of something that has a positive impact. Knowing that every small task I complete on a daily basis contributes to a process that helps fight for people’s rights in personal injury and long-term disability cases is very rewarding.
A highlight of your career at BGL: A highlight of my career at BGL so far has been starting my role and quickly learning new processes and responsibilities. Even though I am still early in my journey, I am proud of how much I have already grown and how confident I am becoming in supporting the team.
Hobbies/Interests/activities outside of work: I am an artist, so I enjoy anything creative such as painting, drawing, dancing, sewing, and working on different craft projects. I also enjoy going for walks, shopping, and drinking saffron tea.
What’s something most people like but you don’t understand? I don’t really understand how people can enjoy watching sad, stressful, or intense movies and shows and then just move on from them so easily. For me, it feels very different. Even though I know it’s acting and not real, I still get very emotionally involved in what’s happening on screen, especially when there is unfairness, violence, or other sensitive topics involved.
What is your guilty pleasure? Miniature cooking ASMR.
