Darci Law is a long-term disability lawyer at BenGlassLaw who helps people fight for the disability benefits they rely on when an illness or injury prevents them from working. She works with clients across the country as part of BenGlassLaw’s disability team.
Darci joined BenGlassLaw in August 2026. She was drawn to disability law because it gives her the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for people during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. She enjoys getting to know clients, understanding what they are going through, and helping them navigate a legal system that can feel overwhelming when they are already dealing with a serious health problem.
Darci earned her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and her law degree from William & Mary Law School. Her legal education and early experience have given her a strong foundation in research, writing, and understanding complicated legal issues.
Before joining BenGlassLaw, Darci clerked for the Honorable Judith L. Wheat, Chief Judge of the Arlington County Circuit Court. During her clerkship, she gained valuable experience researching legal issues, analyzing cases, and seeing firsthand how courts evaluate complicated disputes.
At BenGlassLaw, Darci works alongside the firm’s disability lawyers to help clients navigate denied and disputed disability claims. Her work includes researching ERISA and disability insurance issues, helping prepare appeals, developing case strategy, and supporting clients as their cases move through the claims and litigation process.
Darci grew up in Northern Virginia and has always considered the area home. She is lucky to have family and many close friends nearby and especially enjoys spending time with them and watching her niece and nephew grow up.
Outside of work, Darci enjoys staying active and spending time with her dog, Bear. She likes trying new workout classes, playing in a kickball league, and getting outside with Bear—even when that means chasing squirrels.
