Tell Us Your Story

If you have been in a car accident, one of the first things that will happen after the accident is reported to the insurance company is that you will get a call from the other person's insurance asking you for a recorded statement. Whether or not you participate in the call is your decision.

Here are some things to thing about before saying "yes, sure, I'll do it."

  1. The insurance company will NEVER let you take a recorded statement from the person they represent
  2. The insurance adjuster is very experienced at asking questions and getting you to make one of the "5 Biggest Mistakes" that I discuss in my consumer book on Virginia car accidents.
  3. You darn well shouldn't make ANY statement while you are under the influence of narcotics
  4. The recording of the call can be played in court and used against you.

Just think about it.
