ERISA Benefits Reinstated After Counsel Hired

After a man suffered a serious neck injury in a swimming accident, he was unable to work. His claim for long-term disabilty benefits was denied and he appealed the denial without hiring an attorney.

That appeal was denied. He then hired counsel and a successful appeal was filed and benefits were reinstated.
