It appears Chris Brown has admitted himself into a 90 day residential treatment program in an effort to prepare himself for his pending misdemeanor assault charge.    Whether the treatment will ultimately help the singer rests squarely on his shoulders.

Many individuals enter treatment programs because they think it’s an easy way out of pending charges.  However, if taken seriously, these programs can be invaluable in individuals progress before the court but also in life in general.  Many programs provide useful tools to aid in an offender’s recovery.

Clearly, Chris has made some serious mistakes, which are inexcusable.  But let’s hope he moves forward and uses his time trying to right his wrongs rather than just causing more problems.
