In a recent case handled by our office our client suffered multiple herniated disks and was out of work for 8 months. He incurred almost $42,000 in medical bills (some of which had to be repaid to his health insurance company) and lost $35,661 in wages.

Liberty Mutual only offered $45,000 prior to the arbitration. It was a ridiculous offer by a company that had no argument on liability, no doctor to testify that we were wrong on the medicine and a bad client.

They just wanted to see if we knew what we were doing.

The arbitrator awarded $265,000.

Now the bad news.

Our client only collected $100,000. To the full details about the case against the Liberty Mutual driver and the reasons why he only could recover, go to $265000 awarded against Liberty Mutual driver.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Check your own insurance policy. This disaster could have been prevented had our client known that he could have purchased 5 times as much insurance for as little at $10.00 per month extra (no type - $10.00)
  2. We will do a free review of your Virginia auto insurance policy. Just get it to us. We have done this over and over again and rarely found someone who we could not help get much more coverage for pennies.
  3. The insurance agents selling you car insurance either don't understand this or don't want to sell if to you. You can see my video rant on this subject at AgentMalpractice.com. (Lots of views; lots of "negative" comments form agents - you be the judge, but I am right.)
  4. This video also explains uninsured motorist coverage.  Here's a drunk driving victim seriously injured by an illegal alien who had previously been convicted of (and deported for) drunk driving. She agrees with me too.

Do the above and you can protect your family's finances in the event you are seriously injured in an accident.
