Sharon Brown is our disability claim specialist at BenGlassLaw. She is here to help our clients in any way they need.
Sharon moved from South Carolina to Virginia after her husband retired from the Air Force and found a job that he loved in Virginia. While she was settling into her new home, she realized that she wanted to be more active in the community.
She applied to only one job, as a client care specialist at BenGlassLaw. Immediately she could tell this job was different. When she first met Ben, she was surprised to see that he was a normal person! She had already heard so much about Ben and what a unique attorney he is.
Sharon attended college at North Carolina Central in Durham and majored in education. After college, she taught children at a Montessori school in North Carolina. While her children were young, she was privileged to stay at home with her two sons, Morgan and Daniel. After her children got older, she pursued her interests in law and became a paralegal.
Pursuing a paralegal degree paid off. Sharon was hired as the administrative assistant and paralegal for the 13th Judicial Circuit Solicitor in Greenville, South Carolina, in Virginia referred to as the Commonwealth Attorney. In this position, she work closely with one of the top prosecutors in the South Carolina. In her role at the Solicitor’s office, Sharon had first hand experience working on the prosecution side. She brings to BenGlassLaw the experience of her five years of working with a state prosecutor.
If she was not working, Sharon would be volunteering. She wants to use her experience as a military spouse to help other women manage their families and still be able to enjoy life.
Sharon loves traveling with her husband, reading and cooking. She also loves cheering for the Carolina Panthers (or the Redskins if her husband asks), and the UNC Tarheels.
