Personal Injury Paralegal

Tammy Headshot

Tammy H.

Tammy is one of our Personal Injury Paralegals who handles case management and all client needs for attorney Lisa Derco. She’s been a valued member of the BGL team since 2020.

Tammy has a BS in Marketing, a BS in Legal Studies, a professional certification in Paralegal Studies, and (this November) she will have her MS in Financial Crime and Compliance Management.

Tammy has a husband, two dogs, one cat, and sometimes fosters kittens (which is a bonus for our team, as she brings them to the office with her). She loves to write and perform in a sketch comedy group, work on her own creative writing projects, and again, foster kittens.

From the mind of Tammy Hineline:

Favorite thing about your role: I love organizing client files, answering questions and hearing, “I’m so glad you were here!” I also enjoy fixing the printer for Susie.

Favorite thing about working at BGL: We have a great team, and we all believe in the work we do and what BGL values.

A highlight of your career at BGL: I once took a webinar, applied what I learned the next day to a case I was working on, and it ended up doubling the offer for our client. Also, they let me bartend in a turkey hat every Thanksgiving.

Interesting fact about yourself: I have four tattoos and looking for more!

Best vacation you’ve ever been on: I attended the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

First meal after getting rescued from an island: Chicken and waffles.

What’s something most people like but you don’t understand? Standing in the concert area that has seats. JUST SIT SO EVERYONE CAN SEE.

If you could completely get rid of one month out of the year, which month would it be and why? I would remove August and replace it with another December. DOUBLE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS.
