Hope Rose is our new Client Care Specialist working with our disability clients. While we were interviewing her, Sharon stepped into the office to tell us how much she loves working with Hope.
“When you hire someone new, it usually takes a little time before they really ‘get it.’ Hope was completely different. She jumped right in and started helping us, learning along the way. Though she’s only been with us for a few weeks, we already consider her part of the team,” Sharon Brown said.
What attracted Hope to BenGlassLaw is the focus on teamwork. Most law firms hire people who will fill a seat and do the bare minimum. At BenGlassLaw we look for people who are eager to join this extraordinary team we are creating, and we found a perfect fit with Hope.
“What stood out about BenGlassLaw was that they were looking for a team member. They weren’t looking for just another employee. That was what I wanted; I wanted to work somewhere where I could be part of a family.”
Before coming to BenGlassLaw, Hope worked for the Fairfax Police Department. “I was the first point of contact and the last point of contact for employees.” Though she loved helping the employees at the police department, she wanted to make more of a difference in people’s lives.
“My mother is disabled, so I understand what people with disabilities go through. Even so, it surprised me how difficult disability cases are. Just one wrong word can destroy your appeal.”When Hope is not helping clients at BenGlassLaw, she is spending her time outdoors. “I love being outside. My favorite place to be outside is on the beach.” She loves to hike, kayak, and visit local farmers markets. Hope also loves to travel south for the warmer weather. Her favorite place is Key West, and she dreams of retiring on the ocean one day.
